In November 2020 the UK was in another lockdown situation and there was a problem with patients being admitted to a ward on a green pathway (non-Covid) for their clinical assessment and then they develop symptoms. On a couple of occasions this had passed COVID on to staff and other patients.
The patient typically revealed they forgot to mention that their husband, son, daughter or whoever already has COVID or is awaiting test results. In these cases they should have gone to a red pathway ward (suspected COVID) until their status was known.
We were briefed to produce a visual piece of comms in the shape of a short animated video to get the message across. The video was prioritised and produced within 2 days given the situation at the hospital and the urgency.
